Today, October 15, is a National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day. May we pray for all the mothers and their families who lost their children.

Dear God,

There are many women who have experienced miscarriages, some further along than others. I can only imagine the weight of the burden they carry and with compassion I lift them up to you right now. May your love encompass them and bless them. I pray that You would wrap your loving arms around these women, comfort them and give them a peace beyond understanding in Jesus name. Amen.

It's National Prolife Cupcake Day!

A great way to share and raise awareness about the issue of abortion. Let's all pray for the people who are thinking of having an abortion.

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement, v And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

A friend of mine recommend this amazing trailer, "Present Perfect." After watching it, I got the good feeling goosebumps. It made me do a lot of research on the film and on the history of its setting.

The creators of this future documentary, tell about the aging process with a big part of it having to deal with a preschool at a retirement home called the Providence Mount St. Vincent. Mother Joseph and her Sisters, started this amazing educational journey back in 1856. Who could have imagine that in current times, that the Catholic and Christian faiths are still following one the commandments we see less of today... “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you." I am looking forward to this amazing documentary by Evan Briggs and his attempt for us to human again. How about you? If you are, please share this.
